My little corner in the world!
The couches and chairs in our lounge are so comfortable that I bounce between places to sit.
This is the serious evening chair.
Absolutely necessary with a tripod and could be good on the Black.
Three Good Things; 1 All the supportive comments I have had from friends make me feel stronger.
2. John finally got taken to theatre at 9pm this evening!
3. Our home is the best place to be - injured or as a support person.
@digitalrn He had the stitches put in in theatre under a general last night, Rick! Marginal as to whether it will all take - might have to have a skin graft!
Just catching up with your exploits! What a shock for you both! Hopefully John will be home soon in that cosy room! Nothing like your own home and own bed when you are feeling poorly! Take care xx
the chair certainly looks inviting - sounds like you wont be getting much of a chance to sit and relax there for a while. I do hope things improve for John quickly and that the graft can be avoided.
@maggiemae just don’t overdo it will you! You need to look after yourself too! I do hope John is a good patient and not too demanding! For goodness sake don’t give him a bell! We did that for my old mum when she fell over and that bell never stopped ringing! Lol!
@pamknowler We do have a bell and that is a source of laughter to us, Pam. Our previous house was so big. This one is like a flat - very compact - he just needs to whistle - if he could!
A lovely cosy corner Maggie , I hope all goes well for John and he soon will be well enough to come home.. Nothing like
e the comfort of your own home .Hope you will not be frazzled but will be able to relax together without the need of daily hospital visits ,which can be so tiring. T take care 🌹
@beryl Thank you Beryl - I do appreciate your good comments! I believe there will be many dressing changes but also think a district nurse comes round to do them! After all....we are both 'oldies'!
Looks the perfect cosy corner. I hope that John's operation will be a success and that further surgery will be unnecessary. Keeping you both in my thoughts.
That soft golden glow is delightful & so inviting....John will be so pleased to come home to this lovely & comfy corner to relax & recover. Thinking of you both..
@ninaganci I'm doing fine, thank you Nina! Apart from not sleeping well. That will change. John and I 'talk' to each other on and off all day and he is so cheerful - that helps a lot!

All the best to John and a speedy recovery!
How are you doing Sunshine? The Carer is always the one that works the hardest and feels things the most. I worry about you
