I cycled out on to the roads thinking that’s the night’s cold and snowy weather front that came through, might have a scene I could photograph.
After a few frosty milesI, I realised there were clouds on the main mountain range.
So I cycled around and found this scene! I had to remove some ghastly electricity lines in ‘clone’ Picmonkey.
Three Good Things; 1 I watched the film Christopher Robin and wanted to create one with my special input. Found my own Christopher Robin in my young son in the ‘60s in a photo album. I couldn’t photograph the picture satisfactorily. It will happen…
2. Eventually dragged my eyes back down to the carpet and the vacuum came out!
3. While reading the journal I made for my first son in the ’60’s… I had written some cute sayings. I had told him (he was about 3.-4yrs) to play outside one day and he replied…”I know what I’ll do… Ill tiptoe to the moon. Up in the sky, I’ll jump over the moon.. and you will be cross”!
Snow too but it looks amazing! Lovely memories of your days as a mum to your boy....you are feeling nostalgic....sometimes a shock like you e had makes you think & realise how precious life is. Love to you both. XX
@happypat It was great to read the journal, Pat - 50 years ago - so long ago! ps...John's coming home today - have to drive down to get him. Shall practice my driving technique!
A super view with the snow-capped mountains peeping from above the clouds . Lovely to look back and reminisce from time to time Maggie ! Pleased to hear John is coming home tomorrow - so get that vacuum out , although I am sure he couldn't care less as long as he can come home ! Take care , the both of you ! xx
snow-capped mountains - beautiful.
So happy John is due back
Great memories ....
hate #2 - but I suppose it must be done
Hope you relaxed a bit - you deserve it
