Spring in the City

Now in Dunedin ready for my day surgery tomorrow which I have to admit I"m not exactly thrilled about. An SCC excision but being on the shin, will require a skin graft. In and out on the same day but my freedom will be taken away from then.
Thankful for:
lotsa wine - to forget what is going to happen tomorrow!
Beautiful pov ... All the best for your surgery and a speedy recovery ..

@sarah19 Thanks Sarah- its not just the op I'm nervous about, its the healing - might take ages!

@beryl I don't think the recovery is going to be that swift,Beryl - a skin graft can take months! We will see and hope for the best! I'll take lots of zinc.

beauiful photo and praying for a quick recovery with a very short loss of freedom

@grammyn Thanks Katy - the recovery won't be too quick - I have to put my leg up most of the time and the stitches don't dissolve for 3 weeks. I'll be able to watch tv and read books but not go out and look for good photos. That will come..

@kiwinanna I have reluctantly turned over the cuisine and household duties to him Liana. I have to keep my leg up. This is a brand new experience and may require some patience!
