More flowers are coming out and it’s nice to see them in focus. Particularly the wisteria which is just outside our bedroom window!
My healing time is going slowly! I get rather bored being in one place with my leg up! Talking with 365 friends helps a lot!
Thankful for:
I could take one layer of dressing off the ‘donor site’ today - it was about to fall off anyway!
A gorgeous image. Keep resting up and get in lots of reading! Get John to drive you somewhere in the van then you can sit with your leg up and watch the world go by for a few hours...
I can imagine how difficult it must be to have to keep as still as you can. I am not a very patient patient. In fact when I had been in hospital a couple of years ago I was supposed to rest my leg after surgery and David bought me a fridge magnet that says 'Oh Lord give me patience but hurry'
A beautiful wisteria and having it just outside your window is a bonus ! Beautiful capture colour and bokeh background - fav. So sorry the time is going so slow for you !! Patience is a virtue Maggie - so much easier to say than to do I know ! Keep smiling xx
@gamelee I am using the iPhone's ability to get less than f2 for these photos, Lee - it blurs what it blurs. I don't have to blur the background. So nice to see!
@beryl I have a number of recorded films Beryl - they will help pass the time. Watched a great one yesterday - "The Leisure Seeker' with Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren in it- a thought provoker!
@pistache I've tried and tried to get this sort of shot with my other cameras and just can't! Its so good to have 365 photos to enjoy while I'm tediously sitting with one leg up!
Lovely.....we don't have wisteria this far north in Scotland so it is always a delight to see photos of it in other places.
Glad one stage in recovery has been reached.
I can appreciate that it's difficult to rest with feet elevated. I read some time ago that our body responds to visualizing exercise when we can't actually do it....so perhaps going on lovely walks to your favourite places ..in your mind....will help the days go by.
@sarah19 I do like that sentiment, Sarah and some of my photographs would help! I will also visualise myself at yoga, weights and running round the block!

I hope you get better every day.
