Solstice by maggiemae

Solstice

The longest night, shortest day and the lowest temp in the morning here where I live! In someways its rather beautiful seen from our bedroom window as we pulled the curtains!
Thankful for:
Being able to drive 5 mins down the road to the dairy farm, collect full bottles after putting back empty (and clean) ones. No pay there but you have to remember when you got home.... help.. I forgot... Now its done!
A tragedy in the house - call the firemen; call the ambulance; call the police; what else, haha. I like how you ended your narrative although I don't know what happened. Lovely scene to wake up to in the morning. Our bedroom looks onto the road so no beautiful sights like to wake up to.

lovely out the window shot.

A lovely view! I love your curtains too! So you purchase your milk on the honor system. They believe you will pay them online when you get home. That’s actually a great way to handle a “no touch” transaction.

Beautiful! Like Lou Ann, I love your curtains!

Even with the code you still have some beautiful flowers out there. Definitely a lovely view. You didn’t forget to pay you just delayed paying and that’s OK!

Frosty lawn.... I have been on that drive too!!
You pay for your milk after you get it....No machine at the collection point... I have been to a few similar ones here & in NZ but you always pay at point if collection. They trust you!

Lovely view from your window. It was the longest day here yesterday, I was on the beach at 4.30 am, no frost but pretty wild!

@sangwann No tragedy, Dione - simple forgetfulness to pay for the milk on line!

@summerfield I didn't actually say here but it is frost, Vikki - one of the best we have seen for a while!

And just the opposite here. Now we watch the sun move south again. So pretty to look through the filmy drapery framing the scene.
