An experiment

This is the last rhododendron bush to flower and I put the camera on a tripod and took a number of shots with different settings. Zilch result. All as good as the other, so I used this one with a little bee zooming in for a feed.
Thankful for:
Tons of fruit choices for breakfast. Before they dry up or go brown!
Pretty in pink. It took a while to spot the bee but I found him in the end

Love the deep pink of the flowers. Not as keen on the purple ones....I see we have one in our garden & it has small buds on it....I think I should guess the colour!

Spectacular when viewed on black. The light is gorgeous and so are the flowers

@happypat It probably won't flower till your Spring. I think I like the vanilla to yellow shade of rhododendron best.

@maggiemae The buds always seem to be there for ages before they flower.
