Radish

We just love radish and these came from our garden. Unfortunately the white butterflies love the leaves of this vegetable and the leaves were eaten to be a lace like state!

Garden radishes have more spark than the supermarket ones!

They are a nice size too. Here they are so large in the supermarkets you have to cut them very thin because they can be bitter hot.

They do add a nice bit of zip to a salad. I wish Jeff liked them. There are too many in a bunch for me to eat if I bring them home from the Farmer's Market. Nice shot!

We eat the leave too, Blanch it and make into salad.
