A connection..

This photo has such an interesting history. I found the original black and white photo in my Mothers’ old photo album that I had inherited. Believe it or not, the lady on the right is John (husband)'s Aunt!
My mother went to school in Invercargill at the same time as Florence Munro
It was a very good photo to start off with but I was able to enhance and colourise it ( I do it with an app), with a delightful result. They obviously did a lot of Shakespeare then - 1920’s.
Thankful for:
Bought a book for John, on special due to a damaged cover. It was an author I knew he had read and it has over 800 pages. He’s reading it day and night (almost)!
You've made a great job colouring this lovely photo.

@dide I really don't do anything Dianne - it's an app that does it all - quite remarkable!

What an amazing coincidence. This is a gorgeous image. You did such a good job of coloring it. 800 pages?! Tolstoy?

It looks fabulous! To be clear it is your mother and John's aunt?

Very good restoration

What app is it that you used? I think this colorization would look good on some of my old photos too. This one is delightful- and how interesting that your mother and his aunt were in the same school and so many years later you two end up together!
