Another historic hotel. This one is an hotel and so has beds but I doubt the comfort of them. So we stopped for lunch and had 2 pies - John's was venison and mine was smoked mussels! Quite unique and very filling

Rider Rest Bar....sounds aptly named! Doesn’t look quite in the same class as the previous night! Sounds like you didn’t opt for this one! Your pies are very varied!
@happypat I didn't see the name of the hotel until you pointed it out, Pat! He has lots of motorbikes stopping there and owns 4 of his own. He was totally wrapped with John being there! One of those motorbike owners with a ponytail and a beard!
