still only July! A lot earlier than last year. Maybe a warm winter is encouraging to bloom. I like this scene because of the looming kowhai tree that was grown from a tiny shoot. It isn't visited by the tui's as its relatively new. They like the older trees.

Such a lovely scene and lighting. Talking of slippers, I need to buy a pair every winter! They are very thick fleece and have a gel sole to keep warm on the tiles ;-)
