Its only a lettuce..

but I'm intrigued by the contrast of colours. The rich burgundy red of the leaves and the bright green of the stalk! Next are also lettuces - grow in our Veggie Pod at this time!

Lovely colours. The best book is a really good dictionary, it must have that really thin paper (rice paper?) You’ll find as you are searching for your word, you see another one and think “ooh, what’s that one then”. You never know what you’ll read - so much better than just internetting the word, a lot more fun as well. I got bullied at school for doing that. Sorry for the lecture.

@bill_gk I know, Bill! I have a dictionary permanently open on a bed in the back room. Not rice paper stuff though but pretty old. It belonged to my father who actually wrote in it - or underlined!
