The Iconic race in Burt's life was the race on the beach. The Challenge started in 2006 long after Burt trying to increase speed. The riders here have to be so skilled in skidding and handling the bike in sand. This particular race was a 50 miler. Stamina and careful judgement of fuel necessary.
I took this on a huge zoom from far away - just before the camera told me that the 'battery is exhausted'! Not only the battery, actually!

@johnfalconer A back-up battery did not come with the purchase, John. it's up to me to check on the battery status and plug it in - it will last for days then!
