The song of the tui

I heard it before I saw where he was. Grabbed my camera but put it on the fast speed. So not as clear as I would have liked. When I changed the settings on the camera, he was gone,
Nice: friends arrived for a visit. I had made this wonderful chicken pot pie with dumplings which worked so well making it earlier.

Great forward planning maggie…you could enjoy your guests without slaving in the kitchen…. Essential for enjoyment I reckon. The Tui bird is so distinctive.
