These are our second fruiting and quite huge! John weighed them - the biggest was 40gms. No hollow spots inside and the flavour just burst - strawberry wise!
We have a veggie pod which has a cover that we can use to put over the whole pod. No blackbird breakfasts here!
Your protected strawberries look absolutely perfect! Show condition. Do you have any shows where you can enter your produce ……it’s very popular here! A winner for sure!
@happypat there was the annual A & P show here last weekend, Pat. - Agicultural and Pastoral. I didn't go but would have had I thought of strawberries.
