A challenge. I can't get a good focus on this brooch. Inherited this and it is a Scottish Thistle with a violet coloured stone in the middle. I am going to try a photo with better light to get much clearer focus.
The jersey I have on is 'illions' of years old! I knitted it with very light wool so many years ago. It is so light and warm, I am reluctant to throw it away.
Set it on something wooden or a lovely cloth and photograph it that way in close up. Easier than when you are still wearing it. Looks very pretty and I like that jumper of yours!

The jersey is beautiful, and if it is still functional and whole, there’s no reason to throw it away! You might be too close to get a clear focus on the brooch, but from what I could see it’s also very beautiful
