Popeye!

Okay... was out in the empty corral a few days ago and the trunk of this old sweet gum tree drew my attention. Thought it looked like a face with one eye open - like I woke it up! "Who disturbs my slumber!" LOL! Like something out of "Lord of the Rings!" Was a little creepy! Couldn't see too far down in the hollowed part... might be a hibernation place for a snake! Sssssss!

I like the texture but I think I'd be scared to death of what would be inside of that hole.. I'd like to believe a White Rabbit >.>

@buggus I still haven't really got down on all fours and put my face real close to try to see into the hole! Would be nice if it was a white rabbit vs. a copperhead! I'll stick with your thought! Thank you!
