I love the red bud maples. They usually are the first flower to bloom in early February. A drive through the Wateree Swamp and the tree tops are a deep shade of red. I was so tickled to get this shot with the moon.
My favorite time of year is when my red maple is budding! Yours come out a couple months before ours. I love the framing of the moon and moon shadow is a wonderful song to go with it! I use to listen to that album constantly!! lol Have a great day Maggie:)

This is Awesome Maggie! Love the red buds. Ours are budding up here, but they are usually at the end of March! Love the moon shot between the branches.

Very nice shot, love it! Funny, I was taking shots of the moon last night, and was earlier was thinking of shooting the buds on mycherry blossom tree :)

This is beautiful. I love the framing of the moon and the redbud is one of my favorite trees. My grandparents had several on their land and this takes me back to those wonderful times of being with them!
