Yep, I'm dog sitting Jack again for a few days while his owners are on vacation. I had him for about three weeks back in November and December. He is such a well behaved little fella and I love his company.
Jack is a rat terrier with the coloring of a miniature pinscher. He's a sweetheart! I was so happy that he remembered me and remembered my place. It didn't take him too long to settle into his temporary surroundings. Just like the last time he was here, he spent the evening asleep in my lap while I caught up on your pics. =)
LOL!!! I was wondering who Jack was and now I have my answer ;-) He looks like such a sweet little guy and I'm sure you're gonna love having him around again. Their memories are so amazing, probably a lot has to do with their keen sense of smell. Give him a big woof hi from Daisy.
Wow. Can't believe how much he looks like a min pin! We had one that was 'our' first pet when we got married. My older kids and us really miss him. Thanks for making me think of him!! =) Great catch too...he looks fast!
@melissapike Thank you, Melissa! Yes, last time, he grieved for 8 days. I know he thought he'd been deserted. But, he ate supper and just settled right in to our routine. =)

@darsphotos I don't know why dogs eat grass then puke it up! That's the first thing he did this morning! Yuck! LOL! He's peaceful right now and asleep beside my chair. =)
@marlboromaam What did you feed him, Maggie? Oscar eats grass but does not throw it up. Some just like it and some eat it because they have an upset stomach. Maybe he is missing his owners. Hope your day went well with Jack.
@darsphotos Hmmm? All he had was his regular dog food and treats. All of my dogs that ate grass, puked right after. Never had one that ate it that didn't. Interesting.
