To be continued

Our photo walk (see yesterday's posting) was cut shorter than planned when my sister-in-law suddenly remembered another commitment she had for that afternoon. Here she and my niece are ahead of me as we start back to their house. On the right is one end of a large stone barn that graces the old home place. It is in better condition than the old house that my dad grew up in (off out of frame to the left of this view.) A tornado many years ago took 1/2 of it, and the rest is in a sorry state.

We had intended to walk on further to the pond and pastures beyond. The photo walk is "to be continued."
ok, for your challenge....I love the vulnerability you showed in your last self portrait and I see that portraits arent a huge part of your project so thats what Im issuing. It doesnt have to be you, but it does have to be someone, with a connection on the eyes, because the eyes can tell us so much. :)

@dannydavies Thanks so much Danny. It is beautiful in the Flint Hills and I am partial to this piece of land, some of which my great grandfather bought in 1859.
