The get pushed challenge given to me by Jackie Edwards @jackies365 was to "set up a still life of white items in front of a black background or vice versa with a white background and black items." I did both and will post the black on white on my alternates album. I prefer white on black, though. Probably because it seems easier to minimize shadows that I don't want. I looked and looked for the black cloth I have for that purpose, but can't find where I put it when I finished with it last (just a wee bit ago). So I made do with my black dress and had to darken and increase contrast etc to even out the black instead of seeing the pleats of the skirt. Sigh. It will turn up eventually.
