Election Night by mcsiegle

Election Night

Frank and I stopped by the Museum of Natural History late afternoon to ask about buying tickets for Friday. It was near closing time and several police cars pulled up and parked. These guys in what looked to me like possibly riot gear stationed themselves to one side of the entrance. My guess was to be ready in case of trouble on election night.

Posting only iPod photos right now as I don't have access to a computer to download photos from the camera.
It's crazy as hell.

Great shot which would do really well in the technique challenge (forced perspective, I think)

The world has turned upside down. Very UN-nerving image.

@farmreporter Strangely enough, Wendy, hadn't really noticed how absurdly tiny the police looked with this perspective. I left the bottom part in because it really is a massive bit of stonework facade there. Now that you pointed it out, I can't UN-see it as a normal sized step up with teeny-tiny people. I've tagged it for the challenge. Thanks!
