Where the Buffalo Roam by mcsiegle

Where the Buffalo Roam

Today is Kansas Day. Happy Birthday, Kansas! In honor of the day I'm posting some pictures taken last month. This is part of a sculptural relief panel of a North American Bison (state animal of Kansas and often referred to as a buffalo) on the wall of the Flint Hills Discovery Center. I've indulged myself with a little selective color here, but really the original was not too very different.
On the previous two days I'm posting a couple of versions of a picture taken out on my walk on the Flint Hills landscape the week after Christmas.

You do have so many beautiful photos.
I am your get pushed partner for the week.
How about:
1 An abstract photo
2 Black and white photo of your choice
3 A photo of food for an magazine.

Enjoy!

@sdutoit Thank you, Sylvia. I apologize. I thought I had given you a challenge, but I see I haven't yet. I'll leave you one in your album right now.
