I went with Frank to his church service on Sunday (something I ought to do more often -- they are really a wonderful congregation). He especially wanted me to come because they had a big end of year (before summer) musical number that involved all the choirs and other musicians. I'm so glad I went. They really "blew our socks off" (as the pastor put it) with a medley arrangement of "I'll Fly Away." I wish I had a wider view here There were two trombones and two trumpets, a drum set, a guitar, and piano. The youth choir can be glimpsed at the far left of this shot. The two children's choirs were in the middle (one for the really little ones and one for the kids whe are a little older). You can't see the bell choir which was right in front of the adult choir, partially visible in blue shirts at the right. Frank is in there, but hidden by the director.) This is just an iPod shot of not very high quality, but I do like the inclusion of the little red haired boy and his dad. He was bouncing and clapping to the music -- really getting into it.
