My get pushed challenge from Lisa @homeschoolmom was "a long-exposure night shot, maybe with some sort of light painting or light trails." About 9:30 tonight I was all set to give her a rain check on that as I still hadn't done anything for the challenge. Then I thought to myself "Just Do It." So I got the camera and the tripod and went downtown. I parked in the nearly empty lot of the mall and set up the camera at the edge of the bordering street at the point where the street heads up onto and across the viaduct. On the other side of the street is the Flint Hills Discovery Center and surrounding parking lot and other buildings. Played with various combinations of shutter speed and f stop and this is the one I like the most. I've also posted one that I thought was interesting in my Alternates album. https://365project.org/mcsiegle/Alternates/2019-09-15
I prefer this one. The discovery center is sharper and the light trails are more pronounced. I like the star bursts that appear along the light trails.
