Get ‘er (almost) Done

Today I took all the ornaments off the tree. Frank and I did our traditional singing of “Oh, Christmas Tree” — honoring and sharing water with the tree before taking it out. I haven’t gotten the ornaments packed away yet, or taken the tree to the park for recycling. But everything in it’s own time. Tomorrow...

I liked the lights so well (had them on a timer) that I replaced the tree with a lava lamp to add a little color to my dull winter light.

This tells a story. The tree looks so fresh, though, it's hard to tell just by looking at the photo whether it's ready to go or has been taken down. (Of course, i know the answer to that. you told me.)
