The Nativity scene outside my church seems to be missing two of the three Wise Men. At the beginning of the season I saw this lone figure with a camel off in the background. On Epiphany he had reached the manger, but was still alone (except for the camel and, of course, the rest of the figures who were already gathered -- Mary, Joseph, lambs, donkey, etc etc and the Infant Jesus) I wonder if they were stolen? Or broken? Or lost track of while everything out of the church was being stored during the renovation? At any rate, at least there was one there to represent the wider world beyond Bethlehem. I can't tell which gift he's bringing.
That's sort of sad if they were stolen- I mean what do you do with stolen figurine from a creche?! At any rate, to answer your question, since both frankincense and myrrh are oils and he's carrying a box, I'd say he's the one with the gold. I like how you processed this- it gives him that extra-forlorn kind of look.
This shot really tells the story that your words confirm. Rather a mystery what happened to the rest!
Your processing of this shot is so good - perfect I would say!
