Devoid of People

This walkway in Dana Point is popular with tourists and locals alike and is a much photographed venue. But it's rare to be able to capture it with no people present. I couldn't push the shutter fast enough and managed to get three shots off before someone could spoil it.
Love your newly developed signature! Classy! And this walkway seems to be alongside a marina...so many places in my California world still undiscovered by me!

Oh well done, did you have to shout 'fire' to get everyone to move.

So what did you bribe the people with to stay out of your shot??? Terrific :)

Lovely lead in lines and clarity with detail all the way through the image, well done for getting it free of people Ron:)

@Weezilou Thanks Louise! I decided to get a watermark after I found out one of my photos was "borrowed" without permission. Played around and ended up with the scribble and camera. I kinda like it! That location is near the Coffee Importers at Dana Point, a fun and beautiful place. Can't believe you haven't been there!

@taffy Thanks Taffy! To be totally honest the shadow was a happy accident. Didn't even take note when capturing the image, but once I viewed it on the computer, was quite pleased. Thanks for the nice words.

@onewing Ha, not quite! I did have to wait for a bit, but not too long. January on a Monday, before lunch is a good time to shoot! Thanks Babs. 😀

@pcoulson Thanks so much Peter. I knew you'd like the technical aspects of this image. As for getting it with no people, it simply required a little patience - something we know well as photographers, huh?

@louannwarren Thanks Lou Ann. As I mentioned to Taffy, I didn't really even take note of the shadows when capturing the image. Just got lucky. ;-)
