Where's Mine?_DSC1641

After setting up the camper, we walked down to the beach at Hamelin Bay. The area is renowned for the various types of stingrays that swim along the the shoreline, often swimming over the feet of people standing in the water. I wasn't able to get any good shots of the rays, but a the Pacific Gulls, were quite happy to pose for me.
Your camping again you lucky lady. These gulls are amazing, so much more photographic than our boring old gulls in Mandurah.

@deborah63 We've just got back from 6 nights at Hamelin Bay. It was glorious, maximums of around 25. We've booked to go back next year too.

Thank you, I was so glad that I had taken my camera, because this was the only time that I was able to get close enough for a decent shot. @elisasaeter @chrysanthemum I think he might need singing lessons. @onewing @hermann @gilbertwood @happysnaps

@sketch2 Thanks Dave, I try to focus on their eyes and where possible, try to get the light in the eye too. I also take lots of shots and if I'm lucky one in ten to fifteen shots might be what I want (The beauty of digital) :)
