The Calm After The Storm_DSC2462

This morning was very grey, overcast and thankfully a lot cooler. The 13mm in the rain gauge was also very welcome. By mid afternoon the skies were clearing over the ocean, so we went for a walk along Warnbro Beach. It was sensational. The ocean was so calm that it was reflecting the sky and clouds and the beach was all but deserted. Small, almost silky waves were lapping around our ankles as we walked along the water's edge. Bliss.
