I tried macro shots of several different ornaments, but none of them worked particularly well. This was the best of the hundred plus shots that I took.
It's very good. (I sometimes feel that I take too many shots, but my max for any one specific photo is around 20, but more usually 6 or 7 - too hard to choose otherwise!)
Super shot. It is so pretty and the detail is perfect. I tend to take too many shots when I do macro too, hoping that the next will be better than the first. I, like Hazel, have reduced the number I take now though.
Wonderful capture of this beautiful silver bird ornament. I quite regularly take hundreds of shots, particularly when I’m out away from home taking photos. At home when I’m working on macro shots, I set up my laptop right next to me so I can take several shots and then check them out on the laptop and then make any necessary adjustments. Then I can usually stay at around fifty total shots. Like Babs, I keep thinking the next shot will be better than the first. Sometimes that drive to get a better shot really does make me feel a bit crazy. :-)
