We took our canoe and a craypot (lobster pot) down to Hamelin Bay. After a trial run in shallow water to make sure that they could get the pot into the water and then back onto the canoe,(Without capsizing)Graham and Ben (SiL) paddled out and dropped it into deep water. They checked the pot several times over the week, but unfortunately their efforts weren't rewarded.Ben's very keen to try again next year.
