Damaged Beyond Repair_DSC0878

My favourite local jetty was badly damaged in a storm last month. Unfortunately the council has decided that it is beyond repair and plan to demolish it.

Oh such a shame. The jetty at Shoal Bay was damaged by storm a few years ago and risked being demolished but after protests it was repaired.

@skipt07 The old jetty was originally used for ferry services to Penguin Island. A new concrete jetty was built last year for the ferry so I guess they have replaced it but the new one has no character.
