Part Of The Parade DSC_6067

The Cherry Festival always opens with a parade down the Main Street of Manjimup. The parade includes old cars, tractors and trucks as well as huge, new semi trailers that carry Southern Forest produce to the Perth markets. This lovely old truck stopped in front of me so that the "celebrity chef" could disembark.
I took very few photos at the festival because it was too hot to spend much time wandering around.
This is lovely, it sure looks like a bright sunny day.

Great capture - and I do love that blue sky!! I know it's probably too hot but I'd love some blue sky here! We are supposed to heat up this week but sadly it will probably be with a hot north wind. Hope all is well over your side- just heard there are some fires around Perth.

Great truck. Was it as hot as forecast? It was pretty awful up here 🥵

@narayani We had a great weekend but it was really hot. In the middle of the day we tended to hole up in the caravan with the air con on. It cooled down pretty quickly by late afternoon so our friends congregated at our van for happy hour and dinner most nights.

@gilbertwood Your wish may come true Denise. I believe that our heat wave is making its way east.
