The Bushland Is Regenerating P6090141

This afternoon we had a very pleasant 5km walk through the Spectacles bush and wetland area. A fire swept through the area in December last year and I hadn't realised how much damage had been done. Many trees are now sprouting new leaves and green shoots are springing up.

It is surprising how quickly things come back after a fire. The trees have interesting color and texture.
