I hadn't had a black swallowtail stop by for several weeks so had to get him one more time when he stopped this afternoon (think I'd seen him speeding through earlier, but I'd have needed a movie camera!)
Beautiful shot.They are so hard to actually capture in flight which you have done here. I will be sad to see them go --we still have a few Monarchs around but it is 50 degrees this morning and the bees are immobile. They will move around again once the sun warms them up.
