First Timer

My very first sighting of a Summer Tanager - Thought at first glance from a distance it was a cardinal - until he opened his mouth. Definitely not the pretty cardinal song! Then got closer and noticed no black face. Exciting to find a new one.

@dulciknit The tanager is about the same size as the cardinal - there's also a scarlet tanager which is red with black wings. Would love to catch him.
