The story behind this shot: We stopped at what I call the Duck Pond and the duck and geese were just laying around on the bank. Not terribly interesting, so I started walking towards them trying to encourage them to go in the water. All but this one did and immediately took off for the far side of the pond - well out of camera range. This one duck decided he could outfox me and stay out of the water by walking out on the fishing pier. I followed. Next move he's peering out between the railings looking down at the water - then SPLASH - one leap and gone. Fun for the day. Against back you can really see the splash.
