I cannot believe there are still butterflies around! You could see this one 1/4 mile away (actually there were several like this) as the orange just sparkled in the sunlight. They seem to be a deeper orange this time of year.
What a wonderfully vibrant colour - he looks so good against those daisies. Beautiful, Milanie. How ever do you manage to tear yourself away from these beauties to do things like housework? :-)
@falcon11 It's a gulf fritillary. I can't believe they're still here. What impressed me so what the deepness of the color - Wasn't kidding when I said you could spot them 1/4 mile away.
