This is the tulip magnolia tree down by the trail. It bloomed as usual in late April and then went back to its all leaf stage. I noticed today that it was blooming for a second time - the various stages on the tree are shown in the collage - all shot today. I have never heard of one blooming twice in a year. Has anyone else noticed this or have I just not been observant before?
I don't think this is a common occurrence. Our weather has been pretty unique this year so perhaps that created the perfect conditions for a second blossoming. Nice documentation of the various stages.
Love the collage of the different stages, your framing works very nice as well!
