Spotted this Great Egret perched hit in a tree on the far side of the lake. Cropped this quite a bit but that's all I did. Was quite surprised to even bring him in. I'd always seen them down on the river bank.
He looks pretty large and it looks like he is standing one one leg, right or is that his front leg in the foliage? You sure do see a lot of flora and fauna in a given day!
@falcon11 She does appear to be standing on one leg there - my other shot I could see both legs, but it was a bit fuzzier. Before I became infatuated with 365, I never would have believed how many examples of nature were right under my nose here in town.
