@stevej You'll be a pro with that new lens by then - these shots won't be any challenge! Of course, this silly guy lets me (sometimes) get within 20 yards of him.
He looks mighty cold - has his feathers wrapped around himself like a cloak and I feel for him. Your picture turned out well with the bridge in the background!
@milaniet Wow, 20 yards would be great. The one I saw last year would be on the other side of the pond and fly off to the other pond as soon as we got there.
@stevej I wonder if it's because there is more traffic that passes there - He likes to stay fairly near the boat ramp in this small inlet. He may have seen enough people who pay no attention to him that he's become a little less leery. While there not much boating right now, cars still pass through that parking lot just visiting the park.
Wow, wonderful shot, beautiful bird, lovely and close, but the composition of nature and mans shaping of nature together is brilliant. Arched wings and arched bridge, love this. Fav.
Lovely capture Milanie.......the detail and framing is amazing!
He does look like he is guarding the bridge.
Your so fortunate to be able to capture wild life on your daily walks!
