With temperatures still in the 20's (F.) this afternoon the icicle is continuing to grow. These guys just fascinate me. Like the way the ice clings to the bottom of the overhanging limb in the creek.
Great capture of the ice building-up, slowly but surely the icicles will touch the water and that's as far as they'll go...The dark log running across is adding nice color to your picture and shows great texture! Nice find Milanie!
Icicles are sooooooooooo cool! They have the best shapes and reflections, plus they taste delicious!! Yes, I do suck on them, can't help the inner child that says to do that!!! LOL These are awesome and it's like the icicles are teasing the water below, not quite touching but getting closer!! Love the shine and sparkle of these and the water!! FAV!
Temps are below zero where I'm at, so I'm sure I could find some good icicles around here, too. I will definitely have to try and capture some of that beautiful reflection. Thanks for the idea and great photo!
