Worked hard today to find a shot - found two up on Mt. Magazine (where there should have been dozens this time of year) and those I found were rather beat up. Liked the matching colors of the Great Spangled Fritillary and the milkweed.
I like the matching colors, too! I also really like the light in this shot...so pretty! What a mystery it is that you are seeing so few butterflies this year. I hope that changes soon for you. I know how much you enjoy watching and photographing them.
