I know he was feeling about as ambitious as I was in getting out to find a shot. This heat and humidity are miserable - and there's a hotter week ahead they say.
Great pic! They've been doing the same here in Iowa. We noticed one sprawled out on a branch with all four feet hanging down and he didn't move for about an hour.
Poor fellow, he does look humidified! Its hot here too now, and I've been putting out random containers of water in the garden, in different flower beds, even on a small tree platform I have... not sure if it helps but I hate to see them suffering. Wonderful capture... how are you getting that point of view...it looks like you are up in the tree with him. fav
