Almost home from a short afternoon walk and spotted him on the fence leading to the cut-through to our addition. Looks like he was waiting for me. And he stayed put for his shot - even without food to keep his mind occupied.

I have never seen a squirrel with such a red or deep orange chest. Almost resembles a robin's. Do you think that is particular to the squirrels around you. Or is it just my imagination.
