I've never seen a white henpin flower - you can imagine my surprise as I was looking out in the field to find this one - only one - white henpin in a sea of purple. I'm as surprised that I saw it as anything - looked all over - no others.
One of the most amazing thing about 365, is that I have learnt through photography posted by others, lessons in nature. I have never heard of this beautiful plant. It is very delicate and I feel the leaf is recognisable to our buttercup? Lovely macro.
Huh! How interesting! It will be interesting to see if the white spreads or is overtaken. I would be so tempted to put a survey flag there just so I knew where it was for later.
Super find, and super way to present your beautiful photos! Hmmm, what a mystery this is. I can't help but wonder just how and why these things occur. You captured such wonderful, clear details of the rebel. FAV!
