An Uncommon Visitor

I just spot the red headed woodpecker two or three times a year - and I'm never ready! Spotted something white in a tree more than 100 yards away - zoomed in on him and here's what I saw.

They are such a striking bird with that red head and the black/white pattern when they fly. I had a pair in my backyard last year, I hope they will return. Good shot!
