The Eastern Tailed Blue almost looked like he was walking down hill coming around the milkweed plant. It's way too early to be having such a hard time finding anything to shoot - miserable heat and humidity is keeping everything and everyone quiet!
One would never know you were having a hard time finding subjects. I saw all three of your lovely photos for the day and was just thinking how easy it must be to find. So in eny event, you always make it seem so effortless. Love this photo, butterfly and photo. fav.
This is a beautiful butterfly. Is it very small? A tiny white one was on a Lantana today but I didn’t have my camera. I think If I could have gotten really close to him he would have had some pretty markings.
Absolutely fabulous capture, Milanie! I'm seeing a lot of these fluttering around our area right now. Love the matching orange on the blooms and butterfly! Wonderful focus...such clear details on the butterfly! :-)
