Mom and her Baby

I had never seen a killdeer's pinkish feathers - at least not this clearly. She'd run a little and then squat down and spread that tail. Meanwhile, Junior was off doing his thing with his fuzzy little feathers - didn't realize he didn't have the red eye ring until I put it on the computer.
