I was driving home on Hwy.7 from Hot Springs when I saw this sign for a trailhead. Pulled in and walked as far as the end of this bridge when I read the sign that said "Hunting Season - please wear hunter orange on these (listed) dates for your safety". Having on a grey shirt I turned around and headed back to the car. There was a woman killed last year by a hunter while she was standing in the Cemetery I posted recently during hunting season. Not worth the chance.
I don't blame you- this picture is nice enough!! We are advised the same here too- wear orange or something bright yellow/red during hunting season. Even though hunters are not supposed to be within a certain amount of distance to trails and such it's easy to loose track of where you are when you're going after dinner. I love the curve on that bridge!
Maybe it's because I was a city kid but I don't understand hunting as a sport. This is a beautiful scene and I love your pov - accenting the subtlety of the curves - fabulous Autumnal scene - glad you turned around and remained safe.
So glad you are safe!!
